ph9 only collects data that is necessary for operating the Platform, verifying player identity, processing payments, and complying with PAGCOR and Philippine legal obligations. Data collected for one purpose is not repurposed without notice.
ph9 applies industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption, access controls, and secure storage practices to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction.
ph9 retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by Philippine law and PAGCOR regulatory requirements. Data no longer required is securely deleted or anonymised.

When you create a ph9 account, we collect: your full legal name; date of birth; Philippine mobile number; and the password you set (stored in hashed, non-recoverable form). This data is mandatory — without it, an Account cannot be created.
To comply with PAGCOR guidelines and Philippine anti-money laundering regulations, ph9 is required to verify your identity before processing withdrawals. KYC data collected includes: government-issued Philippine identification document (e.g., PhilSys National ID, driver's licence, passport, SSS card); a selfie or live photograph for biometric comparison; and proof of address where required. KYC documents are processed by ph9's designated KYC service provider under strict data handling agreements.
ph9 collects transaction records associated with your Account, including deposit amounts, dates, payment methods used (e.g., GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO), withdrawal requests, and Wallet balances. ph9 does not store full payment card numbers. GCash and Maya transactions are tokenised through those providers' secure APIs.
ph9 records your gaming activity on the Platform, including: games played; wagers placed and outcomes; session durations; bonus usage; and responsible gaming tool settings (e.g., deposit limits, self-exclusion status). This data is used for account management, dispute resolution, responsible gaming monitoring, and regulatory reporting.

If you contact ph9 customer support via live chat or email, we retain records of those communications for quality assurance, training, and dispute resolution purposes.

ph9 shares personal data with third-party service providers that assist in operating the Platform. These include: KYC and identity verification providers; payment processors (including GCash/Maya API operators); game content providers (e.g., Evolution Gaming, JILI, PG Soft); customer support platform operators; and cloud hosting and data storage providers. All service providers are bound by data processing agreements that restrict their use of your data to the specific services they provide to ph9.
ph9 may disclose your personal data to PAGCOR, the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), the National Privacy Commission (NPC), or other competent Philippine authorities where required by law, court order, or regulatory direction. ph9 will not notify you of such disclosures where doing so would be prohibited by law or would prejudice a regulatory investigation.
ph9 does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party marketing companies or data brokers. Personal data collected by ph9 is used exclusively for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

ph9 implements a range of technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including: SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and ph9's servers; encryption of stored sensitive data fields; access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis; regular security assessments and penetration testing; and incident response procedures for data breaches.
In the event of a personal data breach that poses a real risk of serious harm to data subjects, ph9 will notify the National Privacy Commission (NPC) within seventy-two (72) hours of becoming aware of the breach, and will notify affected players as required under RA 10173.
Notwithstanding these measures, no security system is entirely impenetrable. ph9 encourages you to take your own precautions by using a strong, unique password for your ph9 Account and enabling two-factor authentication.
As a data subject under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data held by ph9:

You may request a copy of the personal data ph9 holds about your Account, including your registration information, KYC data, transaction history, and gaming activity records. ph9 will respond to verified access requests within fifteen (15) business days.
If any personal data ph9 holds about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request its correction. You may update basic account information yourself through Account settings; for KYC document corrections, contact ph9 support with supporting documentation.
Subject to ph9's legal and regulatory retention obligations, you may request deletion of your personal data. Note that data required for PAGCOR compliance, AMLC record-keeping, or ongoing dispute resolution cannot be deleted until applicable retention periods expire.
You may object to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes at any time. You may also object to processing based on ph9's legitimate interests, though this right is subject to ph9's overriding legitimate grounds. To object, contact ph9 support.
Where technically feasible, you may request a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. ph9 will provide available data (such as transaction history) in CSV or similar format upon verified request.
The ph9 Platform is strictly for adults aged twenty-one (21) years and above, consistent with PAGCOR regulations and Philippine law. ph9 does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 21 years of age. Age verification is conducted as part of the KYC process. If ph9 becomes aware that an Account has been registered by a person under 21 years of age, that Account will be immediately closed and personal data will be deleted or retained only to the minimum extent required by applicable law. 21+ only.
ph9's operations are based in the Philippines and data is primarily stored on servers located in the Philippines or in jurisdictions that provide an adequate level of data protection. Where personal data is transferred to service providers in other countries (for example, game content providers or cloud infrastructure partners), ph9 ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place, including data processing agreements incorporating data transfer provisions consistent with RA 10173 and NPC guidelines.
ph9 may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its data practices, regulatory requirements, or Platform features. When material changes are made, ph9 will notify registered players via SMS to their registered Philippine mobile number and by prominent notice on the Platform. The updated Policy will display a revised effective date. Continued use of the ph9 Platform after the effective date of any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
